Move to Arashiyama
. Togetsu-kyo. The tour in Arashiyama starts near Togetsu-kyo, the bridge over the Katsura-gawa River
. Chikurin(Bamboo Grove). Visit Japan's most famous bamboo grove and one of Japan's most photographed spots. Thick, green stalks seem to continue endlessly in every direction, and there's an ethereal quality to the light.
. Nonomiya Shrine. A small shrine located near the famous temple Tenryū-ji, Nonomiya Shrine is surrounded on all sides by the chikurin, Arashiyama’s beautiful bamboo forest. Despite its small size, the shrine has a lengthy history, founded in antiquity as a purification shrine for imperial princesses appointed as priestesses for Ise Shrine.

Daibutsu(Great Buddha) sits just over 16m high and consists of 437 tonnes of bronze and 130kg of gold. The bronze statute is housed in Daibutsu-den(Hall of Great Buddha) which is one the world's largest all-wood buildings.
. Nara Park. One of the must-see areas in Nara City. The vast area covers 660 hectares and is renowned for its free-roaming deer and world famous temples. Feeding the deer is an attraction in itself and special crackers are on sale all around the park.

Move to Beppu (1.5 hr ride)
. Tour of Kamado Jigoku. It is one of the Beppu hot spring tour courses in Oita Prefecture, which boasts the highest hot spring volume in Japan. Kamado Jigoku's name comes from the fact that rice to be placed on the altar during the ancestral rites of Kamado Hachimanku, the guardian deity of the town, was cooked using 98℃ steam from the hot springs. There are also hells 1 to 6 and various attractions, and you can enjoy various hells in one place.
. Alum Hot Springs, the flower of hot springs, where Yudohana is grown. Yudohana means hot spring flower and refers to sulfur in Japanese. Alum Hot Springs is a place where sulfur is grown and where you can learn how to make sulfur. The traditional harvesting method that has been used since the Edo period 300 years ago has been preserved and is designated as an important intangible folk cultural asset. This is a place where sulfur is collected, made into bath salts, and sold. The interior is designed like a park, and you can enjoy open-air baths and family baths.

Move to Yufuin
. A tour of the mysterious atmosphere of Ginrin Lake with mist rising above the water surface. Fresh water and hot springs flow into the lake, and the water temperature is high througout the year, creating a beautiful phenomenum of steam rising from the surface early on winter mornings. It name came from a Confucian scholar who spotted a gold-scale fish in the waters around the sunset one day.
. Yufuin Folk Art Village Street Tour. You can watch demonstrations at the Folk Craft Museum, which houses folk crafts from the late Edo period to the Meiji period, the Handmade Japanese Paper Workshop, and the Folk Glass Workshop, and experience pottery and fabric dyeing. (Paid) There is a restaurant and tea house, so it is a great place to rest after the tour. It is a stop for the tourist bus "Scarborough" and one of the tourist attractions in Yufuin.

. Tour of Daikanbo Overlook, a peak of the northern outer rim of Mt. Uchinomaki onsen, located northeast of the hot springs. It is the best view spot in Aso where you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama, and you can see Aso Town, Aso Gogaku, and Mt. Kuju. The Aso Gogaku seen from Daikanbo is called "Nirvana-zo" because it looks like the Buddha is lying down, and in fall and winter, you can see a mysterious sea of clouds. There are also gift shops and restaurants, and it is also popular as an astronomical observation spot.

. Dazaifu Tenmangu, a Shinto shrine in Dazaifu, Fukuoka. It is built over the grave of Sugawara no Michizane (845–903)(a gifted student who composed many poems dedicated to his favorite plum trees) and is one of the main shrines dedicated to Tenjin, the deified form of Michizane. The shrine's precinct spans over 3,000 acres (12 km2) and includes several structures. Its honden, or main shrine, was first built by Yasuyuki Umasake in 905, two years after the death of Michizane. A larger structure was constructed by the Fujiwara clan in 919 but was destroyed in a fire during a civil war. The Momoyama-style shrine visitors see today dates from 1591[2] and is an Important Cultural Property. The grounds also contain two ponds, a bridge and a treasure house. The shrine is also known for its 6,000 ume (Asian plum) trees belonging to 167 varieties.
. Canal City Hakata. It is a large shopping and entertainment complex in Fukuoka, Japan. Called the "city within the city," it hosts shops, cafes, restaurants, a theater, game center, cinemas, two hotels, and a canal, which runs through the complex.
